The University of Minnesota in Minneapolis is seeking a Facilities Specialist to support HRL across 12 residential buildings, under the supervision of the Director of Housing Facilities, with focus on asset records and decommissioning initiatives for Bailey Hall and Bailey Dining.
This temporary, on-site role requires strong communication, admin/operational experience, and customer service, with a M-F schedule 7:00am–4:30pm and a pay range of $20–$22 per hour.
This position serves in the Facilities unit within Housing and Residential Life (HRL) and provides support for 12 residential buildings. The Facilities Specialist assists the Director of Housing Facilities and the Facilities Support Manager with monitoring the service level agreement between Facilities Management and Housing and Residential Life; assists with the evaluation and distribution of all HRL furniture, fixtures and equipment related to the Bailey Hall and Bailey Dining closure; and assists with a number of facilities-related projects. Work is performed under the direct supervision of the Director of Housing Facilities.
