Job summary

CommonSpirit Health seeks a Supervisor of Facilities Services to lead daily maintenance, custodial operations, and vendor coordination in a hospital setting. You will direct staff, manage budgets, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years in hospital maintenance/medical equipment operations management.
• Preferred degrees/certifications listed in the ad.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering or facilities department and staff; lead meetings and performance reviews.
• Assist in selecting and onboarding new staff; coordinate vacation and sick leave.
• Control department budgets; review POs, invoices and financials; ensure cost containment.
• Maintain preventative and corrective maintenance completion rates above targets.
• Maintain records of maintenance procedures and staff development.
• Foster relationships with Director, Facility Management and hospital leadership.
• Support PQE completion and regulatory accreditation readiness.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for operational excellence and financial stewardship.
• Ensure clear communication and timely reporting across teams.
• Collaborate with peers across departments for cross-functional ideas.
