Collins Aerospace in Carlsbad, CA seeks a Security Control Official (FSO) for Government Security Compliance. You will ensure policy adherence, coordinate with vendors, and support incident response while leading business resilience efforts and regulatory compliance across USG contracts.

The role requires a degree and 8+ years of related experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years, plus active US security clearance and US citizenship. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Experience in interpreting and implementing security requirements outlined in customer issued prime/subcontract DD-254 forms (DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications).

Responsabilités

• Perform duties as the Security Control Official (SCO) by ensuring compliance with security policies and coordinating with external vendors.
• Lead BRCM documentation such as Threat Vulnerability Assessments and Business Impact Analyses, and conduct tabletop drills.
• Track and deliver DD254s, PERSEC, visitor control, document control and security plans with minimal supervision.
• Provide daily in-person security support to employees and maintain sensitive personnel records.
• Ensure compliance with USG contracts and government regulations across multiple work locations.
