Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to ensure security and compliance for our facilities in the United States. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and collaborates with Supports Convergint and its wholly owned companies to safeguard sensitive information, assets, and personnel.

You will manage security clearances, oversee visitor control, conduct training, and develop security plans aligned with government requirements with a focus on NISPOM, FISMA,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Active security clearance and certification as an FSO required.
• Strong knowledge of security regulations (NISPOM, FISMA, NIST).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with security systems and technology.
• Ability to work independently and make critical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer security clearance processes and records.
• Oversee visitor control procedures and coordination with government agencies.
• Conduct security training and ensure compliance with policies.
• Develop and maintain facility security plans, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee physical security measures including access control, alarms, and surveillance.
• Respond to security incidents, investigate, and report findings.
• Prepare for and assist with security audits and inspections.
• Evaluate security practices of vendors and contractors on-site.
