Job summary

CommunityCare HMO Inc. seeks a Facilities Security Coordinator to maintain a safe environment at the Member & Resource Center. You will be a visible security presence, assist employees and guests, monitor facilities, and report incidents, reporting to the Manager of the Member & Resource Center.

You will monitor reception, manage check-ins, and coordinate with emergency services when needed, ensuring smooth operations during events and daily activities at the center.

Qualifications

• Must monitor surroundings and respond to security concerns.
• Able to assess situations quickly and remain calm in emergencies.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in interactions.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Pass Health Care Sanctions background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring security for employees and visitors.
• Monitor reception, assist with check-in/check-out, and provide directions.
• Keep lobby areas professional and welcoming.
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control; report suspicious activity.
• Respond to emergencies and contact services as needed.
• Conduct security rounds and inspect entrances, exits, and parking areas.
• Serve as primary contact for after-hours emergencies.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of spaces for events, returning rooms to standard configuration.
• Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
• Perform other duties as required.
