Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college coursework preferred.
• Contractor’s license is preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in facilities management, construction, engineering, property management and maintenance, with at least 3 years in healthcare or retirement community environments.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, life safety regulations, and Cal-OSHA standards.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; valid driver’s license; strong leadership and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee security services, maintenance operations, and grounds management.
• Manage capital projects: bids, contractor oversight, purchases, and budgeting.
• Ensure timely submission of project status reports and documentation.
• Supervise maintenance operations and track work orders efficiently.
• Promote energy conservation and resource efficiency across the campus.
• Perform quality assurance inspections to maintain high service standards.
• Participate in Quality Improvement programs and Work Safety committee.
