Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Maintenance Associate responsible for general maintenance and cleaning duties, upholding high safety standards for members and team members.

You will gather and return carts, maintain club cleanliness, operate floor cleaning equipment, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment. Training and required certifications are part of the role, with opportunities to contribute to a well-run facility.

Qualifications

• Must complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous service and assistance to members.
• Maintain high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members.
• Keep club areas including sales floor, offices, restrooms, and outdoor grounds clean.
• Gathers and returns carts/flatbeds to ensure ready access for members.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely (floor scrubber, trash compactor) and restock supplies.
• Perform minor building repairs and notify management when major repairs are needed.
