Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a maintenance associate to perform general maintenance and cleaning duties while upholding high safety and sanitation standards for members and team members.

You will collect and return carts from the parking lot, ensure club areas are clean and well-maintained, and use cleaning equipment per safety guidelines to support a positive member experience. The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability and adherence to club policies, with weekly pay and a benefits

Qualifications

• Must complete required training and certification processes.
• Prior maintenance or janitorial experience preferred, but not required.
• May be under 18 to perform parking lot cart functions; over 18 to operate equipment and enter age-restricted areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides members with prompt and courteous service and assistance.
• Maintains high standards of safety and sanitation for members and team members.
• Maintains the cleanliness of all areas of the club including sales floor, offices, restrooms and outdoor grounds.
• Gathers and returns carts and flatbeds from the parking lot to the club entrance.
• Operates floor scrubber, trash compactor and related equipment safely and efficiently.
