Job summary

Rimrock-Trail in Prineville, Oregon, seeks a Facilities, Maintenance, and Safety Technician to maintain the organization's buildings, grounds, and vehicles. The role ensures a safe, clean environment for staff and clients and coordinating with licensed professionals as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Thorough working knowledge of custodial and maintenance methods and materials and the use of custodial equipment, two years or more of related experience.
• Understanding of OSHA guidelines and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform or coordinate maintenance of interior and exterior facilities, furnishings, carpentry, painting, general repairs and janitorial needs.
• Identify when licensed professionals are needed and coordinate their work with contractors.
• Design effective safety programs and safety plans; monitor safety compliance and report progress.
• Identify hazards and recommend solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain logs of safety inspections and correspondence; receive and process work orders.
• Oversee janitorial needs for facilities and ensure walkways and entrances are clean and safe.
• Ensure security systems, lighting, gutters, roofs and alarms are operational.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and coordinate purchases.
