Job summary

Brenntag is seeking a hands-on manager to lead safety-first operations in our Texas/Owens region. You will oversee shipping, warehousing, and fleet activities, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and Brenntag procedures while driving efficiency and cost effectiveness.

You will develop and coach a high-performing team, ensure training compliance, and maintain accurate paperwork. The role demands ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set a high example of safety and ensure all facilities adhere to safety requirements.
• Schedule and monitor all shipping functions to ensure they are done safely and in accordance with DOT regulations and Brenntag procedures.
• Schedule and monitor all warehouse functions to meet customer demand, as well as all safety and environmental requirements.
• Evaluate distribution, blending warehouse and maintenance operations for efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Ensure all corporate policy and regulatory initiatives are applied.
• Ensure all operators receive and maintain required training.
• Maintain responsibility for company fleet including tractors, trailers, straight trucks and tankers.
• Ensure accuracy of all required paperwork.
• Complete all administrative duties, as assigned.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
