Job summary

The Alden Network is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead the facility's maintenance and safety programs in a long-term care setting. You will direct the maintenance team, coordinate safety inspections, and oversee preventative maintenance to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include budgeting for repairs, supervising contractors, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while maintaining a high standard of facility conditions for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have broad knowledge of building maintenance.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Familiar with facility safety standards.
• Experience estimating repair costs.
• Understanding of long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Directs, plans, coordinates, and administers the Maintenance Department in accordance with laws and regulations governing a long-term care facility.
• Coordinate safety and maintenance needs to ensure a comfortable and safe environment.
• Ensure safety standards and preventive maintenance programs are developed, implemented, and maintained.
• Schedule and oversee inspections, and coordinate corrective actions when needed.
• Plan and manage facility equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
• Assist and oversee contracted workers and Alden Bennett Construction personnel on site.
