The YMCA of Western North Carolina is seeking a Property Director to lead maintenance, safety, and operations for the Center’s facilities, grounds, and vehicles in downtown Asheville. You will provide leadership, ensure compliance, and support events while guiding staff and contractors.

With a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2+ years of related experience, you will manage preventative maintenance, safety programs, and vendor relationships, driving a culture of care and responsibility across

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional facilities or related experience.
• Specialty education/certifications in building systems preferred (HVAC, carpentry, plumbing).
• CDL license with medical card to drive a school bus if assigned.
• CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, O2, and First Aid certifications within 90 days.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) required within 90 days for pool facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as risk management and safety lead for the Center.
• Direct and perform preventative maintenance on HVAC, pumps, and facilities.
• Maintain grounds, vehicles, and safety records; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with agencies; ensure permits and inspections.
• Hire, coach, and mentor staff; conduct quarterly reviews.
• Manage inventories and order supplies; track projects with Facility Dude.
