The YMCA of the North Shore is seeking a Facilities Director to oversee the maintenance, safety, and daily operations of our affordable housing properties. You’ll manage preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vendor relationships to keep residents safe and comfortable.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong project management, knowledge of building systems, and the ability to respond to emergencies.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in a skilled trade with project management or leadership responsibilities.
• Knowledge of building systems: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry.
• Valid MA driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Licenses or certifications to lead projects, or willingness to obtain within 6 months.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee routine and emergency maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance schedules.
• Manage residential building upkeep, common areas, grounds, and safety of residents.
• Coordinate vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance projects.
• Communicate repair timelines and project updates to leadership and residents.
• Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and improve operations.
