Job summary

Oakland Community Health Network is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the safety, security, and maintenance of the Pontiac facility with occasional travel to Troy, MI. Responsibilities include coordinating space, managing contractors, and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting staff and tenants.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience in safety and facilities, plus 3+ years of relevant work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience in safety/facilities may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to emergency janitorial calls and complete incident reports.
• Oversee safety, security and compliance for the physical plant and grounds.
• Coordinate building maintenance and oversee contractors.
• Manage office moves and space planning with supervisor guidance.
• Collaborate with the Director of Facilities on accreditations relevant to health, safety, and premises.
• Respond to and perform minor repairs and coordinate furniture moves as needed.
• Provide coaching and technical assistance to staff.
• Liaise with parking, police, and fire services as required.
• Monitor HVAC equipment via the BMS system and oversee special projects.
• On-call for after-hours facility issues; travel to Troy, MI as needed.
• Maintain communication devices for constant availability; conduct safety drills.
