Job summary

ABEC is seeking a proactive Facilities & Safety Coordinator to support operations at our Wilson, NC site. You will coordinate maintenance, drive safety initiatives, and partner with teammates to improve processes while delivering tangible results.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree, 3+ years in facilities or safety, knowledge of OSHA, and strong organizational and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree is a plus; Lean/Six Sigma experience is welcome.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance, safety, manufacturing, or related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety programs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Continuous Improvement, Lean, or Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility and safety records, metrics, and project tracking systems.
