Job summary

Colorado State University seeks a Renovation & Repair Assistant Supervisor to lead maintenance, repair, and renovation efforts across Housing & Dining Facilities, including residence halls and dining centers. This working supervisor role performs field work alongside staff and provides technical guidance.

You will oversee five full-time employees, coordinate projects, ensure safety, and maintain customer service standards while coordinating contractors and life-safety tasks to support CSU

Qualifications

• Minimum required degree: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six years in building maintenance or related building trades.
• Experience supervising or directing others.
• Ability to perform and oversee work in multiple trades.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and evaluate four full-time maintenance staff.
• Oversee maintenance, repair, and renovation projects across Housing & Dining Facilities.
• Provide technical guidance across building trades.
• Ensure safety compliance with regulations and policies.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, life-safety inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency response.
