Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government credentials and facility access.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage facility-related projects including relocations, renovations, occupancy, and modernization.
  • Develop schedules, milestones, dependencies, budgets, estimates, and documentation.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across IT, vendor, admin, and engineering teams; document meetings.
  • Monitor status, risks, scope, cost, and quality; propose mitigation actions.
  • Provide technical support for mission-critical environments while maintaining continuity.
  • Prepare status reports, risk registers, change records, and closeout reports.
  • Support CAD drawings, space planning, relocation plans, and decision-support products.
  • Ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, and compliant with government requirements.

Position Objective: Plan and implement relocation, logistics, furniture reconfiguration, service-request, warehouse, and facility-support projects.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage facility-related projects, including infrastructure, renovations, relocations, occupancy, workplace modernization, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, milestones, dependencies, action logs, budgets, estimates, and project documentation.
  • Coordinate scientific, administrative, facilities, architecture/engineering, IT, vendor, and other stakeholders; facilitate and document meetings.
  • Monitor project status, resources, risks, issues, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance; recommend mitigation and corrective action.
  • Provide technical support for laboratory, clinical, animal research, data center, office, and other mission-critical environments while maintaining operational continuity.
  • Prepare status reports, risk registers, change records, technical analyses, executive briefings, presentations, data-call responses, and closeout reports.
  • Support CAD drawings, space planning studies, relocation plans, customer engagement, and decision-support products as assigned.
  • Ensure deliverables are accurate, timely, professional, current, and compliant with Government requirements and applicable federal facility practices.
  • Oversee laboratory relocations, personnel moves, furniture reconfigurations, staging, storage, inventory, and asset tracking.
  • Assess operational, environmental, sequencing, and human-factor impacts and develop contingency plans.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an accepted combination of directly relevant education and experience consistent with the contractual labor category.
  • Minimum 11-13 years of related experience supporting a variety of projects, appropriate to the assigned PM level.
  • Experience with facility infrastructure and building systems and with laboratory, clinical, animal research, data center, administrative, or comparable environments.
  • Demonstrated project scheduling, risk management, stakeholder coordination, customer-service, written communication, and executive-presentation skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Government credentials and facility access.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BS in Business Administration.
  • Extensive federal facility operations and relocation experience, including NIH/NIAID support.
  • Experience with ARCHIBUS, service-request systems, inventory and warehouse operations, and customer support.
