Job summary

Go METRO is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance across Metro facilities, grounds, transit centers, and shelters. You will manage preventive and corrective programs, budgets, contract work, and safety compliance to ensure reliable, cost-effective transit operations.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven planning, and the ability to coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Safety, IT, and Finance to deliver state-of-good-repair.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to communicate technical and operational information.
• Ability to manage budgets, contractors, and maintenance programs while ensuring safety and compliance.
• Experience leading diverse teams and driving continuous improvement in facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and monitor maintenance and repair of Metro facilities, grounds, garages, and transit centers.
• Develop and improve preventive/predictive maintenance programs and ensure documentation.
• Manage daily work planning, scheduling, and execution of corrective, preventive, emergency, and project work.
• Coordinate projects with Operations, Engineering, Procurement, Safety, IT, Finance, and other departments.
• Develop annual operating budgets and monitor expenditures; ensure cost-effective operations.
