Job summary

Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) at Naval Station Everett is seeking a Facility Manager responsible for the operation, maintenance, and safety of multiple fitness, aquatic, and recreation facilities.

You will supervise staff, coordinate budgets, plan preventive maintenance, liaison with Public Works, and ensure programs run smoothly for service members, families, and civilian employees. This role may require evenings or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation management or related field
• 3+ years of specialized experience may substitute for a formal degree
• Knowledge of managing sports, fitness, and aquatics programs and facilities
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating facility operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and safety of multiple fitness facilities and aquatic areas.
• Supervise staff (facilitators, attendants, volunteers) and coordinate scheduling.
• Develop budgets, prepare estimates, and monitor expenditures for SFA facilities.
• Coordinate with Public Works and contractors for repairs and capital projects.
• Maintain records on facility status and ensure compliance with regulations.
