Navy Region Northwest Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) at Naval Station Everett seeks qualified candidates to support Morale, Welfare and Recreation programs, manage facilities, and oversee daily operations. The role emphasizes event planning, budgeting, safety, and community engagement.

The position requires a four-year degree in Recreation or related field and professional experience; travel and overtime may be required; strong communication with patrons and partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Four-year undergraduate degree in Recreation or related field and one year of professional experience OR three years of specialized subject experience equivalent to the next lower grade.
• General knowledge and skill in developing and executing operating budgets.
• Work based on results and is reviewed for appropriateness and conformity to policy and requirements.
• Frequent physical exertion such as walking, lifting and handling recreational supplies up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Support and manage recreation programs and events.
• Capture metrics and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote programs and manage social media content.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports and program budgets.
• Ensure facilities meet safety, security and sanitation guidelines.
• Lead training and scheduling for Recreation staff as needed.
