Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is hiring a Range Safety Officer I to oversee day-to-day range safety and operations at the range counter, rentals, and events. This entry-level role requires firearm-safety knowledge, retail experience, and the RSO 1 certification.

You will work closely with Sales and Events teams under the SEC Range Master in a team-driven environment. The position emphasizes safety, SOP compliance, and customer experience, with opportunities to grow within a global firearms and training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, 0+ years experience.
• RSO 1 certification required.
• Basic firearm safety knowledge and emergency response training.
• Proficient with MS Office and POS transactions.
• Clear communication and ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Enforce SOPs to prevent injury and range damage.
• Manage day-to-day range check-in, firearm rental, reservations, waitlists, product knowledge, and Armorer tasks.
• Assist with setup and teardown of indoor matches and leagues.
• Support small private events and customer gatherings.
• Provide safety corrections without deep-diving into topics with customers.
