Job summary

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager shall be responsible for the planning, procurement, and execution of projects and for planning, scheduling, assigning, and documenting preventative maintenance schedules. The manager shall also prioritize shifts and staff resources to meet service call requirements.

Quality Control Surveillance
  • Have the authority to act on behalf of the Contractor on a day-to-day basis for routine matters at the work site.
  • Direct the workforce and the work to be performed under this contract on behalf of the Contractor.
  • Be the point of contact for receipt of all contract-related correspondence from the Contractor.
  • Be onsite and available to deal with the day-to-day operation of the contract.
  • Hands on any task, as needed to meet commitments.
  • Service dispatch.
  • Emergency/critical system responder.
  • Maintain preventative maintenance software.

Qualifications – Experience, Education and Certification
Education & Experience
  • Must have certification and experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical.
  • Must have at least 5-10 years of RECENT (within the past 7 years) experience in the Federal contracting environment, and/or standards compliance.
  • Must have knowledge of acceptable maintenance procedures and understanding of occupational safety and health regulations.
Team Management
  • Enjoy maintaining facilities and keeping them in above-average condition.
Other Requirements
  • Must be fluent in Spanish as well as proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending English.
  • High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • PMP Certification is preferred.
Additional Qualifying Factors
  • As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results.
Security Clearance Requirements

It is mandatory that all Contractor personnel working onsite at federal facilities meet federal government security clearance standards. The Contractor shall submit security clearance information, for each employee, as required by current government identification card application procedures and future requirements as applicable. All employees must be authorized as acceptable under by the contracting officer for the prime contract under which this employee is working.
