The Gill Corporation in Maryland is seeking a Facilities Project Engineer to lead facility and equipment projects in a manufacturing setting. You will oversee design, justification, scheduling and implementation, and develop spare parts lists and maintenance plans.
Lean methods help optimize reliability and efficiency. You will coordinate with maintenance and other departments, drive continuous improvement, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

$115,000 - $140,000, commensurate with experience (Relocation assistance is not available.)
1st Shift, On-Site - Monday through Friday
The Facilities Project Engineer is responsible for facility and equipment-related projects in a manufacturing environment. This role oversees all aspects of projects including design, specification, financial justification, scheduling, and implementation. Additionally, the Facilities Project Engineer develops critical spares lists and preventative maintenance schedules, supports the maintenance staff in diagnosing technical equipment problems, and utilizes lean manufacturing principles to optimize equipment reliability, eliminate waste, and increase overall operational efficiency.

While performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance. Must have the ability to operate lift machinery/equipment and be able to work at heights above 15 feet. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
