Job summary

Medartis is seeking a Plant Engineer to lead facility upgrade and capital improvement projects, provide hands-on maintenance, and ensure EHS compliance across manufacturing facilities. The role blends project management, technical documentation, and operations support with flexibility for desk-based work and on-site tasks.

Ideal candidates will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, have an engineering background, strong MS Office skills, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field).
• Associate degree or equivalent experience accepted.
• Entry-level engineering background or internship in manufacturing, facilities, or environmental work preferred.
• Excellent computer skills including MS Office.
• PMP Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility upgrade and capital improvement projects end-to-end.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with site maintenance to prioritize repairs and preventive tasks.
• Support and maintain facilities systems including HVAC, EHS, wastewater compliance.
• Lead audits and maintain EHS documentation.
• Maintain digital plant layouts; ensure safety and compliance.
• All other tasks assigned by manager.
