Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma plus two years related experience.
• Experience in design, construction, maintenance, repair or inspection of buildings and related facilities.
• Knowledge of surveying, engineering, building plans and specification interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bid specifications and plans for building projects.
• Develop preliminary plans, cost estimates and related construction documents.
• Coordinate and facilitate compliance with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, building codes and ADA regulations.
• Supervise inspectors to ensure adherence to specifications and building codes.
• Maintain records of payments to consultants/contractors.
• Travel statewide as required.
