Job summary

LAUKOA is seeking a Facilities Project Development Specialist to assist the 99th Readiness Division Directorate of Public Works with multi-faceted engineering base operations. The role requires developing technical project documents, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring facilities meet safety, environmental, and appearance standards.

The position emphasizes collaboration with AFOS/RFOS and delivering energy-efficient outcomes, with long-term duties at Fort Totten-related locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum (3) years’ experience in project development or applicable equivalency required.
• Favorable National Agency Check with Inquiry (NACI) per AR 380-67.
• Valid Driver’s License with ability to operate government vehicle.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop technical project documents of broad scope and complexity.
• Provide project development services for maintenance and repair requirements.
• Ensure projects are technically correct, energy efficient, and aligned with best practices.
• Develop project cost estimations using RSMeans and other data sources.
• Support RFOS regional Annual and 5 Year Work Plans.
• Conduct facility site visits during project planning phase.
• Review and approve field reports related to facility status.
• Review adequacy of CSS requests and other duties as assigned.
