Job summary

Xfinity Live! in Orlando, FL is seeking a friendly Porter to maintain cleanliness and order across the facility. You will sweep, mop, dust, stock restrooms, and operate cleaning equipment while adhering to safety standards and reporting repairs as needed.

The ideal candidate is courteous, a team player, able to follow directions, and willing to work nights, weekends or holidays if required; previous janitorial experience is a plus, and references are preferred.

Qualifications

• Courteous and pleasant to all guests.
• Ability to work as a team with fellow porters and staff.
• English speaking skills are beneficial, but not required.
• Ability to follow directions from supervisors/managers.
• Experience in porter/janitorial field is a plus, but not required.
• Previous job references are required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, mop floors
• Dust furniture and fittings
• Empty and clean trash containers
• Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
• Clean and stock restrooms
• Wipe down glass surfaces
• Wash windows as scheduled
• Operate mechanized cleaning equipment
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
• Monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements
• Other duties as assigned
