Job summary

UNM Hospitals seeks a Facilities Maintenance professional to develop and coordinate preventive maintenance schedules for equipment, machinery, and buildings. You will review manuals, determine PM frequency, and minimize downtime while coordinating with staff and supervisors.

Strong data skills and experience with PM software are essential. The role includes assigning work orders, tracking status, and ensuring compliance with policies and accreditation.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventative maintenance software.
• Experience with report writer software.
• 2 years directly related experience in dispatching, facility maintenance, or customer service.
• Experience in a hospital or large facilities environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains a computerized preventive maintenance program.
• Prepare and coordinate data uploads into the TMA system.
• Input PM orders and track status using computerized systems.
• Coordinate installations and repairs of equipment.
• Design and run queries to extract data for reports (TMA, Shmartsheet, Access).
• Develop and maintain reports including efficiency and renewal/replacement metrics.
• Maintain records of planned and completed maintenance.
