Job summary

HII Newport News Shipbuilding is seeking a qualified professional to oversee operational aspects of multiple projects within the Facilities Program Management Office. You will liaise between project management, planning, and line management while tracking budgets, schedules and progress.

The role focuses on delivering financial goals, budget tracking, and schedule projections, with collaboration across project teams and program representatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, plus 3 years of exempt experience; Master’s degree with 1 year may substitute.
• Equivalent credentials listed in must-have section acceptable to meet minimum qualifications.
• Experience with budgeting, scheduling and cost estimation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manages operational aspects of ongoing projects.
• Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and problem solving with stakeholders.
