Job summary

Illinois State University is seeking a Construction Management student worker in Facilities Planning to support project records, tracking, and administration for campus construction and capital projects.

You will organize files, drawings, specs, correspondence, and closeout documents; assist with site observations and facility assessments; prepare meeting notes and reports; and help manage schedules, budgets, and action items.

Qualifications

• Current Illinois State University undergraduate student pursuing Construction Management or a closely related field.
• Strong organizational, written communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize assignments, and collaborate with others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project files and records; organize drawings, specifications, correspondence, photographs, and closeout documents.
• Track schedules, budgets, milestones, and action items; prepare meeting notes and reports.
• Assist with site observations and facility assessments and support capital project delivery.
