University Housing at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking a Construction Project Manager I/II to oversee design, planning, and construction of university housing facilities. This multi-level role covers new builds, renovations, and major maintenance in collaboration with campus partners and outside consultants.

The role includes budgeting, scheduling, and coordination of architectural and MEP systems, with emphasis on meeting University Housing standards and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a closely related field.
• Master’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Progression to senior levels may require advanced degrees or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting, designing, estimating, scheduling and managing architectural and/or MEP construction projects.
• Serve as interface with project managers, architects and engineers to provide technical information.
• Review architectural and MEP drawings and ensure conformance with contract documents.
• Monitor schedule, progress, and budget; report to stakeholders.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a closely related field

Master’s degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
