• Project budget monitoring, fiscal management, and contract administration
• Coordination of project activities with multiple stakeholders including consultants, contractors, and government agencies

The Facilities Planner 2 manages and coordinates facility-related capital, maintenance, renovation, infrastructure, and operational improvement projects affecting approximately 60 owned and leased facilities statewide on behalf of the New York State Education Department. The role applies professional project management principles to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with established scope, quality, and risk management objectives.
