The position supports the Facilities department in a fast-paced hotel/casino setting, emphasizing teamwork, safety, and customer satisfaction while following all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of paint, wallpaper, and drywall required.
• Ability to tape and mud drywall surfaces.
• Ability to identify and color match paint.
• Ability to paint, apply textures, and prep areas for painting.
• Capable of basic stucco and efface repairs.
• Familiar with wallpaper techniques and furniture refinishing.
• Must read and comprehend instructions; multi-tasking and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain or apply various types of paint and paint related duties.
• Tape and mud drywall surfaces.
• Prep walls for paint and/or wallpaper.
• Wallpaper repairs.
• Furniture refinishing.
• Operate hand tools and company power tools safely.
• Complete work orders via computer-based program in a timely manner.
• Communicate work order details and follow up.
• Notify Supervisors of parts and inventory needs.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Follow lawful direction from Upper Management.
• Adhere to all safety rules and company policies.
• Interact well with others and support team morale.
