Job summary

Marymount University is seeking a Painter/Factotum to support facilities with painting, drywall, and trim work in university properties. You will also assist with carpentry tasks such as door swinging, ceiling tile installation, and molding work.

The role requires experience with interior/exterior painting, safe chemical handling, and the ability to work on varied projects while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Paint expertise with surface prep, patching, and matching finishes.
• Carpentry knowledge including measuring, cutting, joining, and fastening.
• Familiarity with finishing tools and both hand and power tools.
• Ability to estimate time, materials, and cost for projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting, patching and refinishing walls, doors, ceilings, and furniture.
• Repair and install doors, trims, and moldings; handle carpentry tasks as needed.
• Read project instructions, mix paints, and ensure safe handling of chemicals.
