Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining campus facilities or similar environments.
• Ability to use multiple craft skills including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting.

Responsibilities

• Replaces electrical and plumbing components (bulbs, ballasts, fixtures, valves, faucets).
• Troubleshoots and replaces circuits, breakers, fuses, motors as needed.
• Proficient with electrical test instruments (voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters).
• Repairs minor plumbing components (faucets, valves, traps).
• Repairs wood components by measuring, cutting, nailing, gluing and sanding.
• Repairs seams in carpets and replaces thresholds.
• Cuts and threads water pipes up to 1 ½ inches.
