Qualifications

• Experience as a residential, commercial, or industrial painter.
• Knowledge of painting materials, coatings, finishes, and the tools to apply them.
• Strong eye for detail and good communication with residents and staff.
• Basic math to calculate area and material needs.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces, remove wallpaper, skim walls, paint, and perform minor drywall repairs in resident rooms, hallways, lounges, and offices.
• Use low-odor or zero-VOC products and follow healthcare safety and infection-control guidelines.
• Perform light maintenance tasks (e.g., light bulb replacement) and assist with related duties in Maintenance Department.
• Be part of essential personnel and participate in rotating On Call schedule; support emergency or facility needs.
