Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Facility Manager to lead the daily operations of a small 20-person facility in Coon Rapids, IA. This hands-on leadership role oversees a team of site technicians to maintain peak efficiency with strong safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, scheduling work, maintaining logs, and ensuring adherence to OSHA PPE and electrical safety policies while managing external partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a technical operations role with supervisory experience.
• Proven experience managing teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to handle physically demanding tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of site technicians, setting performance expectations.
• Coordinate daily work schedules and task assignments.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide on-the-job training.
• Oversee monitoring and maintenance of facility uptime and safety.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for building and equipment.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility.
• Monitor environmental conditions and direct corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate operational logs and incident reports.
• Enforce OSHA policies, PPE usage, and electrical safety.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct safety walkthroughs and implement corrective measures.
• Serve as on-site contact for inspections and audits.
