Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Facilities Operator Lead to oversee maintenance, safety, security and the appearance of an assigned property. You will inspect and repair building systems, grounds, custodial, HVAC, electrical and plumbing to keep operations safe and efficient.

This role requires hands-on skills, the ability to coordinate with administrators, perform preventive tasks, and manage equipment and inventory while supporting event setups and seasonal projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of codes, procedures, practices and common safety for carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing.
• Experience operating hand tools, portable drills, power saws, lifts, VOHM meters.
• Ability to operate machines safely and handle multiple tasks.
• Must complete Safety Tool Kit program within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Open and secure buildings in the morning and afternoon as applicable.
• Conduct daily facility walk-through with administrator.
• Check heating and cooling equipment operation.
• Identify and maintain equipment and report safety issues.
• Perform security inspections of doors, windows, roof hatches and lighting.
• Perform minor repairs to electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Repair interior/exterior finishes (tiles, painting, shelves, boards).
• Replace air filters and HVAC components as needed.
• Coordinate cleaning of rooms and restrooms per schedule.
• Police and trash removal on grounds daily.
• Maintain inventory of tools and custodial equipment.
• Requisition materials and equipment as needed.
• Site safety inspections for playgrounds where applicable.
• Coordinate events setup/teardown.
• Seasonal tasks: pressure washing, painting, roof maintenance, gutters.
