Job summary

CCBC is seeking a maintenance and engineering leader responsible for the upkeep of all campus buildings and utilities, ensuring reliable operations of heating, cooling, and electrical services. You will supervise staff, manage preventative maintenance, and coordinate with contractors to meet safety and efficiency standards.

Requirements include multiple engineering licenses (or equivalents) and at least six years in building systems maintenance, with flexibility for emergencies and overtime as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Formal specialized training and EPA CFC Certification.
• Electrical license and HVAC/engineering licenses preferred.
• Second/First Grade Stationary Engineers licenses required or preferred.
• Minimum six years in maintenance of mechanical systems, boilers and chillers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of all campus buildings and utility systems.
• Direct development and maintenance of department records and reports.
• Develop budgets and monitor expenditures to avoid overspend.
• Supervise staff and train/evaluate personnel.
• Coordinate with external contractors and internal stakeholders on maintenance projects.
