Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures and manuals.
• Three or more years of related experience and one year of supervisory experience required.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals and safe usage.
• Completion of required trainings.

Aufgaben

• Follows opening and closing procedures and supervises the department in the supervisor's absence.
• Performs preventive and scheduled maintenance including electrical, plumbing and mechanical repairs.
• Maintains facility cleanliness and upkeep of assigned areas and equipment.
• Operates related motorized and non-motorized equipment.
• Records and reports repairs and assigns work as directed.
• Ensures building is secure during shift and reports hazards to supervisor.
• Replaces soap, towels, and other supplies.
• Sets up furniture/equipment for events per schedule.
• Supports onboarding and leadership of housekeeping and maintenance staff.
• Maintains professional attitude and appearance at all times.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings.
• Performs other duties to ensure successful operation of the Community YMCA of Eastern Delaware County.
