Job summary

The YMCA of Indiana County is seeking a part-time Facilities Worker – Maintenance to perform general maintenance, repairs, and custodial duties to keep the building clean, safe, and welcoming for members and staff.

The role supports daily facility operations under the Director of Facilities, including snow removal, landscaping, room setups, and basic plumbing/electrical/HVAC tasks, while upholding safety standards and YMCA values.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Experience with building maintenance or custodial work is helpful.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and custodial duties as assigned.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repairs.
• Complete snow removal, ice control, landscaping, and grounds maintenance.
• Set up and move furniture, equipment, and rooms for YMCA programs and events.
• Identify and report maintenance and safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, safe, functional, and welcoming facility.
• Follow YMCA policies, OSHA regulations, and safety standards.
• Assist the Director of Facilities with administrative tasks as assigned.
