Job summary

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN seeks a Supervisory Facilities Operations role to supervise maintenance of mechanical systems, building automation, and campus infrastructure.

You will coordinate preventive maintenance, respond to emergencies, and mentor maintenance staff. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (bachelors preferred) and 3+ years of facilities experience, with strong teamwork and CMMS proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and systems.
• Experience coordinating maintenance activities and working with CMMS software.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line supervision for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments.
• Act on problems, emergencies, and other matters affecting own area (e.g., building automation and control systems).
• Proactively suspend activities when risk to health, safety, or environment is identified.
• Support development and implementation of standards, policies and procedures for facilities maintenance.
• Research new techniques to improve energy conservation, efficiency, and reliability; stay updated with trends in facilities management.
• Ensure all systems monitoring, operations, and maintenance comply with policies and regulatory requirements.
