Job description

Welcome to the future of cloud networking and security!

Cato Networks is the first company to converge enterprise networking and security into one centralized and global service that is delivered by cloud. It is led by networking and security pioneer Shlomo Kramer (Check Point, Imperva) and early investor (Palo Alto Networks, Exabeam, Trusteer and more). Cato’s unique technology inspired a brand-new product category, later named "SASE" by Gartner and a market expected to reach $28.5 billion by 2028.

This is your opportunity to get on the rocket ship and join a company that is building a cutting-edge enterprise network and secure cloud platform, and is on a fast track to becoming the worldwide market leader - don't miss it!

We are looking for an experienced, highly accountable Site Facilities Operations Specialist to take end-to-end responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our large, complex, and fast-paced Tel Aviv office.

This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring strong technical facilities knowledge, excellent judgment, structured execution, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities. It is not a coordination-only position. The person in this role is expected to take full ownership, anticipate operational risks, make sound decisions under pressure, hold vendors accountable, and remain responsible until every issue is fully resolved.

The successful candidate will bring operational discipline, urgency, persistence, and strong business judgment, while maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, service, and employee experience.

Responsibilities
  • Take full end-to-end ownership of the site's day-to-day facilities operations, including maintenance, cleaning, catering, security, access control, deliveries, utilities, and workplace services, ensuring operational reliability and business continuity.
  • Lead the resolution of operational incidents and complex technical facilities issues, from initial assessment and prioritization through stabilization, vendor escalation, stakeholder communication, root-cause analysis, and verified closure.
  • Manage and hold accountable building management and external service providers, including contracts, SLAs, schedules, service quality, costs, and corrective actions, challenging recommendations and performance when required.
  • Establish and maintain a disciplined preventive operating model, including maintenance plans, inspections, checklists, issue tracking, inventory control, Health & Safety, compliance, and operational risk management.
  • Lead small-to-medium facilities projects from concept through completion, including scope, budget, vendor selection, scheduling, execution, stakeholder management, handover, and closeout, while supporting larger strategic workplace projects.
  • Partner effectively with internal stakeholders and translate company priorities into execution, while managing budgets, invoices, reporting, risk escalation, process improvements, and multiple concurrent operational priorities.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of directly relevant facilities or building operations experience, including proven independent ownership of a large, complex, high-occupancy, or multi-floor site.
  • Strong practical understanding of commercial building systems and technical facilities issues, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, odors and indoor air quality, access control, and general maintenance.
  • Proven ability to independently manage urgent incidents and multiple competing priorities, make sound decisions under pressure, and drive issues through to full and verified resolution.
  • Significant experience managing building partners, external vendors, contracts, SLAs, maintenance plans, service quality, and costs, including addressing underperformance and challenging suppliers when necessary.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of facilities projects, including scope, budget, timelines, vendors, risks, stakeholder communication, handover, and final closeout.
  • Exceptional ownership, organization, judgment, and follow-through, with the ability to work cross-functionally, communicate effectively in Hebrew and English, maintain regular onsite presence, and respond when operational needs arise outside standard working hours.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Working Model and Availability

This is a full-time, onsite role, requiring regular presence in the office from Sunday through Thursday.

Due to the operational nature of the position, occasional responsiveness and onsite attendance outside standard working hours may be required for urgent incidents, planned maintenance activities, vendor work, or facilities projects.

Nice to Have
  • Experience working in a high-tech, high-growth, or similarly fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Background in catering/vendor onboarding.
  • Familiarity with workplace systems, such as work-order or ticketing tools.
  • Familiarity with workplace Health & Safety, emergency response, business continuity, or operational compliance requirements.
