Job summary

Döhler GmbH in Princeton, NJ, is seeking a Facilities Manager to ensure the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of the site’s buildings, utilities, and services. You will coordinate day-to-day facility activities, oversee contractors, support capital projects, and maintain strict compliance in a fast-paced food & beverage environment.

This individual contributor role has no direct reports and requires strong organizational and communication skills to partner with Production, Quality,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3–7 years of office management, administrative, or operations experience.
• Experience in a corporate, manufacturing, food & beverage, or fast-paced environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of Environmental Health and Safety principles and requirements.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with event coordination and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Primary Contact: main point of contact for office vendors, service providers, contractors, and building management.
• Contract Administration: coordinate and maintain access to office contracts and agreements for the Princeton facility.
• Activity Scheduling: manage a shared schedule for inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, service visits, and capital projects.
• Compliance & Onboarding: confirm contractor scopes, timing, access needs, safety expectations, and required documentation.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: align facilities work with On‑Site Office/Facilities Manager and internal departments.
• Communication & Technical Direction: provide oversight and communicate priorities, schedules, risks, outages, and corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement: contribute to site optimization and process improvements without formal supervisory authority.
• Risk Escalation: promptly escalate operational, safety, food-safety, compliance, and budget risks.
