What You'll Do

Responsible for managing supplier relationships through Facilities purchasing processes ensuring cost risks are mitigated, and services supporting both the department and the company overall are provided uninterrupted. This role also has responsibilities contributing to the success of Facilities data integrity, ensuring the accuracy of publicly reported environmental information. This position requires adherence to and enforcement of various policies and controls including overseeing department Archer program. Additionally, this position will develop and improve department reporting and resources to enhance risk and cost mitigation activities.

Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.


How You'll Do It

Understand and apply company data integrity policies to environmental and greenhouse gas data collection process through coordination and execution of data audits, ensuring the high degree of accuracy required for publicly reported information.

Manage the accuracy and integrity of all information entered into the Ariba system as it relates to Suppliers and services or products procured. Review invoices submitted for accuracy, obtain department approvals and process through Ariba for payment. Mitigate risk by developing reporting on critical invoice payments and collaborating within the department to resolve issues and eliminate possibility of business down time by ensuring payment is made accurately and within payment terms agreed upon for critical services. Serve as department resource for Ariba training and troubleshooting.

Collaborates both cross-departmentally within Discover and with Suppliers to efficiently identify and solve issues related to Supplier onboarding, purchase orders, invoices and payments.

Monitor Archer controls, working internally with responsible parties to ensure that tasks are completed on time; develop understanding of Archer processes and system to identify opportunities for improvement

Oversee and maintain Facilities department resources and reporting through regular collaborative reviews, including cost metric database to mitigate cost risk and improve cost forecasting, critical asset inventory and plans to mitigate risk of business interruption, and supplier contract database to ensure accurate payment terms.

Actively seek opportunities to streamline process, reduce costs and add value to the organization through review of daily activities, leveraging SharePoint, DLife and Microsoft Teams. Serve as department resource for SharePoint/Teams best practices. Track deadlines and coordinate deliverables for special projects and initiatives.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $60,000.00 to $93,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
