Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be willing to physically come in the office to perform duties & responsibilities; be comfortable on-call including weekends and after-hours.
• Have and maintain a valid Florida Driver’s license.
• Preferred: worked in facilities management/maintenance for at least one year; proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Be able to input and update data while ensuring compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facilities operation for two sites under direction of the Administrative Services Director.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, security and inventory; liaise with vendors and county facilities.
• Ensure after-hours security and building maintenance; manage access and on-call responses.
• Collaborate with Hernando County Emergency Management and DOH-Hernando planners.
