Job summary

Training,-Rehabilitation- is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee janitorial and landscaping operations across DHS RGV facilities. You will ensure efficient, safe service delivery in line with contract terms and quality standards, exercising strong leadership and attention to detail.

Lead on-site teams and subcontractors, manage budgets, schedules, and inventory while maintaining compliance with government regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of recent managerial experience directing cleaning-type operations for buildings.
• Experience supervising staff in facility operations and meeting contract requirements.
• Supervisory training or equivalent experience approved by the Contracting Officer.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operations to ensure work meets contract requirements and quality standards.
• Oversee employees, subcontractors, and vendors with compliance to contracts and regulations.
• Act on behalf of the company for contract matters, except major amendments or price/scope changes.
• Manage budgets, review processes for efficiency, and schedule personnel and time cards.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and vehicles; lead safety programs per EM 385-1-1 and OSHA/DOD rules.
• Prepare reports, logs, and records; gather data for cost estimates of contract changes.
• Conduct employee performance evaluations and enforce company policies.
