Job summary

New York City Football Club LLC is seeking a Manager of Facilities Operations to lead the day-to-day operations at Etihad City Football Academy New York. You will ensure safety, security, cleanliness, and readiness to support players, coaches, employees, and guests.

The role requires overseeing maintenance, security, catering, and site services, plus managing staff, vendors, and budgets. Collaboration with departments, capital projects, and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Building Services, Construction Management, Business, Sport Management, or related field; equivalent relevant experience considered.
• Proactive, organized, and solution-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and respond calmly and decisively to time-sensitive operational issues; strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day facilities operations to keep the site safe, secure, clean, well maintained, and operationally ready.
• Oversee facilities services including maintenance, cleaning, security, catering, reception, grounds, energy management, storage, deliveries, bookings, and opening/closing.
• Manage facilities operations staff, contractors, vendors, schedules, work assignments, performance, and service standards.
• Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, building-management systems, MEP, life-safety systems, CCTV, and access control.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, procurement support, SLAs, KPIs, audits, and quality assurance processes.
• Develop operating plans, budgets, OPEX, invoices, purchasing, inventory, asset records, and maintenance histories.
• Lead site health and safety, risk management, safeguarding, emergency preparedness, incident response, inspections, and regulatory compliance with VP support.
• Coordinate facility and pitch usage, rentals, fleet operations, site readiness, and support for internal departments and approved customers.
• Support capital projects, building-system upgrades, sustainability initiatives, and handover of completed projects.
• Build relationships with Club departments, suppliers, authorities, emergency services, and facility users.
• Identify operational risks and opportunities and implement improvements.
