Job summary

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Billings, MT is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and operations of multiple facilities, ensuring safety, compliance, and readiness for church activities.

This hybrid role requires leading a team, coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders, managing budgets and KPIs related to timeliness, cost, and quality, and ensuring alignment with church standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• BS degree in facilities management, construction management, business, or related field.
• FMP certification required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual performance reviews, manage payroll, approve expenses, and handle HR-related issues (onboarding, time off, workers' compensation).
• Implement strategic objectives and ensure team alignment with organizational goals.
• Manage maintenance work for FM groups, including preventative and corrective programs.
• Conduct semi-annual facility evaluations to inform annual and long-term plans.
• Perform property inspections and ensure work meets specifications and standards.

Education

BS degree in facilities management / related field

FMP certification or will obtain within 1 year
