Pritchard Industries is hiring an Area Manager for the Birmingham, AL market. The role involves scheduling staff shifts, monitoring attendance, and conducting staff performance reviews.

You will make recommendations regarding promotions, transfers, and dismissals while maintaining strong relationships with customers and union representatives. Key duties include assigning janitorial duties, inspecting work to standards, issuing supplies, inventory control, training staff, and handling payroll

Qualifications

• Experience managing janitorial staff.
• Ability to assign duties and inspect work to standard.
• Experience handling payroll timesheets and attendance.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent communication with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assign janitorial duties and inspect staff work to ensure standards.
• Issue cleaning supplies and equipment as needed.
• Take inventory and inform management when depleted.
• Provide training and guidance to staff.
• Review payroll timesheets for locations and report accidents.
• Manage changes with union/non-union staff and maintain customer rapport.
